Habitat

There is a varied Habitat of seven acres of Wetlands, Woodland and Meadow. This provides an environment attracting a rich variety of plants and animals, and the area is being developed to attract an even richer variety. There are plans to increase the area of this habitat to more than fifteen acres and construct an environmentally friendly building to improve the current facilities.

A survey of the Biodiversity of the site is in progress, last year volunteers were trained in Plant Identification, and further training for identifying other species groups is to be provided this year.
