Events & Activities

Family Activity Days

These events take place in the school holidays with child numbers limited from 15-20, depending on the activity. Activities are designed to suit ages from 3-12 years and vary from campfire cooking to woodland pirates. Children need to be accompanied by an adult for these sessions.

Seasonal Events

We hold regular seasonal events throughout the year including Easter, Halloween and Christmas Events. Our Halloween evening is one of our biggest fund raisers and attracts hundreds of people each year. Other events including Autumn Apple Days and RAF History days are also held regularly.

Wildlife Workshop

Our workshops focus on helping you learn new wildlife and country craft skills and are suitable for both adults and older children. Workshops themes are varied, seasonal and include sessions on fungi identification, wildlife photography, willow weaving and guided bird walks. If you have a particular topic that you wish to explore, why not get in touch and we'll try to help.

Please note that due to school and weekend group bookings, the Centre is not open for families and individuals to visit unless attending one of the activities above.
